Using the tools

PaletteTools provides free browser-based tools for extracting color palettes from images, picking colors from images, and converting between HEX, RGB, and HSL color formats. No account is required, and there is no charge to use any current tool.

Your content

Images you upload are processed locally in your browser and are never transmitted to our servers. You are responsible for having the rights to any image you process with these tools. Color values you generate or convert (HEX, RGB, HSL) are just numeric data and are not subject to any restriction from us — use them however you like.

No warranty

PaletteTools is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. While we aim for accurate color conversions and meaningful palette extraction, we don't guarantee the tools will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for any particular purpose. Extracted colors are an approximation of an image's visual content and may not exactly match every expectation.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PaletteTools and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or its tools.

Acceptable use

Please don't use PaletteTools to process unlawful content, to attempt to disrupt the site, or to circumvent any technical limitation (such as the maximum upload size) in a way that could degrade the service for other users.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the site evolves. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
