This policy explains what happens to your data when you use PaletteTools. It is written to be read, not just filed away — if anything is unclear, contact us and we'll clarify it.

Images are never uploaded

The Image Color Palette Generator and Color Picker from Image tools read image data using your browser's built-in Canvas API. Your image file is decoded and processed on your own device. At no point in Week 1 does this website have a server endpoint that accepts image uploads, and image pixel data is never transmitted anywhere.

What is stored locally

Some tools save small pieces of information in your browser's local storage so the site is more convenient to use:

We do not store uploaded images, extracted pixel data, or any personally identifying information in local storage or anywhere else.

Analytics

This website ships with an optional, provider-agnostic analytics hook that is disabled by default. If analytics is enabled in the future, it will be configured to avoid collecting raw image data, extracted pixel data, personally identifying information, or full values you've typed into a form. We will update this policy before enabling any analytics provider.

Advertising

No advertising is shown on PaletteTools at this time. If advertising is introduced in the future, this policy will be updated first, and any associated cookies will be disclosed here.

Cookies

PaletteTools does not currently set tracking cookies. Browser local storage (described above) is not a cookie and is not sent to any server.

Third parties

PaletteTools does not call any external API to process images or colors. No AI service, paid API, or third-party image-processing service is used.

Your choices

You can clear your recent-color history at any time from within the Color Picker tool, or clear your browser's local storage for this site through your browser's settings.
